Guided trail rides
Enjoy the scenic views of the San Bernardino mountains on horseback. All of our guided trail rides are suitable for all skill levels. The terrain is light to moderate, with a few hills, rocks, and lots of beautiful trees and views!
We offer 1 hour, 2 hour, 3 hour, 4 hour, and even our beautiful Sunset Ride through the forests and hill tops. These are walking guided trail rides, and a great way to take in all the beauty and nature here in Big Bear, CA!
We ask that you arrive 30 minutes prior to your ride time, to get you signed in, and go over any details of the ride. For your convenience, you can print our waiverHERE if you like.
We take you out in a group setting, but also offer private rides or private group rides of up to 8 people. You will be riding unassisted on your own horse, with a guide leading the ride, no double riding with children or adults.
Petting zoo
Are you an animal lover? Well then come stop by for a visit in our adorable petting zoo! Here you can meet Miss Piggy, pet the goats, play with the chickens or check out our newest addition...Two mini longhorn cows, Bonnie & Clyde!
All the animals are friendly at the petting zoo. Fun for all ages and a memorable experience for animal lovers of any age!
Petting Zoo and Pony rides do not require a reservation, but we do reccomend calling ahead before you would like to visit to make sure we are indeed open. Our hours can vary due to weather and occasional ranch duties. So calling ahead before you head our way will ensure you aren't disappointed in the event we are closed.
Pony rides
Give your little riders who are not ready to ride the trails on their own, a taste of horseback riding with our pony rides. Gentle ponies and a safe environment for young riders. Your child will take several laps around our petting zoo, and feel like a real life cowboy or cowgirl!
You do not need reservations to visit or take a pony ride, but we do recommend calling ahead to make sure we are open for business, before you head our way.
Pony rides are a fun way to let your little ones experience horseback riding safely. Children must be 70lbs or less to take a pony ride. The laps are around the outside of the zoo and are led by one of our Ranch Staff members.
